OVERVIEW
This call for submissions is open to all citizens and residents of Canada over the age of 18 working in the following categories:
Acrylic/Oil | Watercolour & Other Media | Photography
This annual fine art contest and exhibit awards the brightest and best artists working in Canada.
Selected artwork will be on display from August 18th-September 4th 2017 in the Arts & Crafts Building at the CNE.
With over 1.7 million visitors expected to visit the CNE in 2017, this is a great opportunity for artists to be acknowledged for their talents, gain exposure, win cash prizes and build new relationships. NEW THIS YEAR - all selected artists will have the opportunity to be a demonstrating artist at the ART SPACE for one day during the CNE

Critic’s Choice Grand Prize

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Follow these 3 steps on the Artist Submissions Page:
1. Register your participation by completing the online form.
2. Complete payment by following the PayPal link, or contact us directly at 416.620.0500 to pay by credit over the phone, or visit us in person at ARTWORLD FINE ART GALLERY, 365 Evans Ave, Toronto ON
3. Upload jpg Image Files and a text document including bio, CV and a brief statement about the works you are submitting to Dropbox using the link on the Artist Submissions Page.
Restrictions: 36”x36” maximum dimension. For framed works, this dimension must include the frame. All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past year and cannot have been previously published. No reproduction work ie: giclée or lithography will be considered.
Non-refundable fee of $35 allows you to submit up to 5 pieces for consideration, in any one category. If you wish to submit works in multiple categories you must pay $35 per category entered.
Your entry fee must be received before your submission will be reviewed.

You will be notified on or before July 28th if your work is selected.
Selected work must be delivered to ARTWORLD FINE ART by August 6th at the latest.
Peoples’ Choice Category Winners will be announced on Sunday, September 3rd at the CNE.
Your work will be available to pick up at ARTWORLD FINE ART after September 10th.
Since its origins in 1879 as the Toronto Industrial Exhibition to the Canadian National Exhibition as we know it today, has always supported the Visual Arts. In the early days the CNE gave Canadian artists a place to exhibit their work and it presented one of the very few opportunities for visitors and artists to see foreign artworks without going abroad. The influence of these early exhibits for Canadian artists and collectors was tremendous. It is one of our goals to continue and expand on that artistic legacy.
